DREAMING ELI SS25 DREAMGIRLS

Founded by Italian designer Elisa Trombatore, Dreaming Eli is a visionary brand that aims to empower women through bold and thoughtful fashion. Elisa, a Central Saint Martins graduate supported by the Isabella Blow Foundation, has made waves in the fashion world with her designs being celebrated in publications like Vogue and i-D Italy. Known for collections that confront femininity's inherent contradictions, Dreaming Eli draws on Elisa’s Sicilian heritage and themes of empowerment emerging from restrictive environments.

To bring the SS25 Dreamgirls collection to life, Dreaming Eli transformed B&H Studios into a multi-dimensional experience for London Fashion Week. Inspired by the Greek myth of Scylla and Charybdis, the show explored themes of duality: the monster and the human, the hard and the soft, the beautiful and the repulsive. Scylla, characterized by her hybridity, served as the muse, symbolising a reclaiming of femininity, sexuality, and power.

The studio was draped in romantic fabrics, creating an immersive atmosphere that balanced elegance with an undercurrent of edge—a reflection of the collection itself. With the entire building at their disposal, Dreaming Eli’s team transformed multiple rooms for hair, makeup, and styling, using each space to support the larger narrative of femininity’s complexity.
